Learn to Code

Why is coding good for kids?

Coding has an unfair reputation of being difficult, boring and some may say… reserved for nerds. This could not be further from the truth. Coding in many ways, more closely resembles Fine Arts than it does STEM. It is creative and expressive. Code can be as beautiful as poetry. It is the sheet music that makes a computer sing. It shares the wonder in creating something from nothing.

Many have their kids learn piano not because they expect them to be professional pianists (although we would love it), but because it unlocks new parts of their brain.  With their hands on the "keys", endless possibilities are on the tips of their fingers.  The same can be said for coding in that it teaches one how to think, problem-solve, recognize patterns, collaborate and unleash new types of creativity.

A clear path to coding confidence

Children are surrounded by technology and computers are central to most aspects of our lives.  Kids who learn the basics of programming can become better architects of their future world.

They relish the challenge to become active participants instead of passive consumers. In addition, the computational thinking (analytical, logical) skills that underlie coding will be required for future.
