Pricing
You only pay when your registrants do.
No subscription. No monthly fee. No per-seat pricing.
One rule: Sitelite takes a small per-registrant fee on paid registrations.
Free events are always free. 50¢-$1 per paid registrant.
Per-registrant fee
No ticket price → no fee, ever.
e.g. a $45 ticket → 50¢ (~1.1% effective)
e.g. a $250 ticket → $1 (0.4% effective)
$0 monthly · $0 setup · 0% of revenue · no contract
Stripe processing rates
Sitelite never marks up Stripe's fees. What Stripe charges is what you pay, nothing more.
501(c)(3) Nonprofits
2.2% + 30¢
per transaction
Apply through your Stripe Dashboard with your IRS determination letter. Stripe verifies within 1-2 weeks.
Standard
2.9% + 30¢
per transaction
Stripe's default rate for all other organizations.
These are Stripe's rates, not ours. Sitelite's only fee is the per-registrant platform fee. We recommend applying for the charity rate before you open registration so every payment benefits from the lower rate.
Platform fees are VAT-exclusive. Your accountant determines VAT or sales-tax treatment for tickets you sell - Sitelite does not calculate, collect, or remit taxes on your behalf.
What does this actually cost?
Three real scenarios at nonprofit rates, with the math shown.
Youth Retreat
85 registrants · $0 ticket
Nothing.
Cedar Ridge Summer Camp
60 registrants · $250 ticket
Sitelite fee is just 0.4% of revenue. Total including Stripe: $408 (2.7%).
Fall Women's Conference
250 registrants · $45 ticket
Sitelite fee is just 1.11% of revenue. Total including Stripe: $448 (4.0%).
Scenarios shown at the 501(c)(3) nonprofit rate of 2.2% + 30¢. Standard orgs pay 2.9% + 30¢. Ticket prices above are illustrative; your org sets its own pricing per event.
“We were paying $1,200 a year for our old tool. Sitelite cost us under $80 for our whole spring retreat.”
James K.
Operations Director · Grace Community
“The math is simple: $1 per camper. No surprise invoices, no negotiations. I budget once and forget about it.”

How we compare
Most platforms charge a monthly subscription on top of a percentage of every ticket sold. Sitelite doesn't work that way.

Figures are representative of common pricing in the market. Sitelite's 50¢-$1 fee applies only to paid registrants with tickets $5 and above.
Free events: up to 100 registrants
If your event has no ticket price, Sitelite enforces a 100-registrant cap per event by default. This covers most ministry small groups, retreats, and single-day events. We'll happily raise that for any legitimate free event: email us with the event details and expected size before opening registration.
How the money works
Stripe Connect: set up in 30 seconds
Sitelite uses Stripe Connect (Standard). When a registrant pays, Stripe routes funds directly to your Stripe account, not to Sitelite. The per-registrant platform fee is collected by Stripe as an application fee at transaction time. You never receive an invoice from us.
Already have a Stripe account? Click "Connect Stripe" in your settings, authorize the connection, and you're done. No forms, no re-entering business info.
New to Stripe? You'll create an account during the same flow. Stripe handles the setup. It takes about 10 minutes and you can start accepting payments right away.
If your registrants don't pay, neither do you.
Payment plans & Contribution Links
The platform fee (50¢ or $1, based on registrant total) is charged once per paid registrant at the time of the first payment. Future installments carry no additional platform fee.
When supporters contribute to a registrant's payment plan balance via a Contribution Link, no additional Sitelite fee applies. The fee was already collected at registration.
Pricing questions
Yes, really. Sitelite has no subscription, no monthly bill, and no per-seat cost. We make money only when you collect paid registrations: 50¢ or $1 per paid registrant (based on registrant total), collected by Stripe at transaction time. Free events are always free. If you run free events only, or if registration is closed, you owe us nothing.
If your organization is a registered 501(c)(3), apply for Stripe's nonprofit discount directly through your Stripe Dashboard. You'll need your IRS determination letter. Stripe typically verifies within 1-2 weeks. Once approved, your rate drops from 2.9% + 30¢ to 2.2% + 30¢ on every transaction, a 24% reduction in processing costs. We recommend doing this before you open registration so every payment benefits.
A 'paid registrant' is one whose registration total is at or above $5 (per Terms §5): no fee under that threshold; 50¢ per registrant from $5 to $49.99; $1 per registrant at or above $50. Free events are always free.
Add-ons count toward the registrant's total when we determine which fee tier applies. So a $35 day-camp registration sits in the lower tier (50¢ per registrant), but a $20 t-shirt add-on brings the total to $55, which moves that registrant into the higher tier ($1 per registrant). Discount codes do not reduce the tier; the threshold is always evaluated against the pre-discount total.
Yes. If you have chaperone tickets at $0 alongside camper tickets at $150, only the $150-ticket registrants trigger the platform fee. Chaperones are free for you and for Sitelite.
Refunds flow back through Stripe. The Sitelite platform fee is refunded proportionally. If a registrant receives a full refund, the $1 fee is also refunded.
Yes. Sitelite can grant promotional credit balances to organizations, which offset the per-registrant fee. Credits are applied at checkout before Stripe collects the application fee. Contact us if you're interested in promotional credits for your organization.
If you already have a Stripe account, it takes under 30 seconds. Just click 'Connect Stripe' in your Sitelite settings and authorize the connection. If you're new to Stripe, you'll create an account during the same flow. Stripe walks you through it in about 10 minutes with your business name, bank account, and identity verification. Many accounts are approved instantly.
